Pope Francis in Manila

These past few days, the Philippines has been graced with the presence of Pope Francis. What He imparted to the Filipinos, especially those that have been affected by the Yolanda typhoon, was so special and valuable that it reminded everyone that God IS here, and in fact He has always been here -- with us.

God hasn't been gone missing. He hasn't forgotten about His people. He hasn't turned a deaf ear to our cries, wails and hardships...

He has been walking with us every step of the way... and although we know this truth, it sometimes takes another person to remind us of it.

Pope Francis has been instrumental to pointing people back to God -- Jesus Christ is the only way, and all glory, honor and blessing go back to Jesus.

So thank you, Pope Francis for visiting us... but more importantly, thank You JESUS for being the kind of God and Savior who meets us wherever we are in the faith and for being Emmanuel - God with us . :)

So the event started with that then went into the specifics of fashion blogging then writing in general. :) Hope you'll pick up a few writing nuggets! Happy reading and writing!

It's Perfectly Fine Not to Say Anything

Last weekend, we went to this Starbucks branch in Tagaytay and it was really lovely. It was situated below a steep driveway, and unless you know where to look, it would be quite easy to miss. But it's a spacious lot -- with glass doors, paintings, couches, benches and wooden architecture -- it may just be my favorite Starbucks by far.

Ligawan Stage So this is the part where Dennis already laid down his intentions, and I said yes to courtship.  I’ll share here the things we learned and what God taught us during this season.
