Unboxing Bird Box

We saw Bird Box the other day and so did over 45 million Netflix subscribers around the world and it was a pretty good movie! It was a psychological thriller that haunts you with questions long after the credits rolled. So what for me made the movie worthwhile? 1. The mystery of the "creatures" I saw a post of a friend that this is the evil in the world. It's a force that lures you in and kills you. So where does it come from and why did it decide to show itself only now? Just like evil, it has always been there but there is a time wherein its force will be much stronger and there will be a time wherein it will have a following (the psychos in the movie) that will push the advancement of the evil force in this world. Watch Faves: Begin Again

Two thumbs up to films that still celebrate people's authenticity. My sister and I had girly bonding yesterday by watching Begin Again and it was a really good movie! :) With the can't-miss-it gorgeousness of these two human beings on the planet -- Keira and Adam -- the movie is definitely more than just a love story. Actually come to think of it, was it a love story? I encourage you guys to watch it, then let me know what you think? :)

Do you want to build a snowman?

"All good things, all good things.." If you've seen Frozen, raise your hands up! Lol! I just thoroughly enjoyed the movie that here I am, devoting a post to it. While all the characters are especially endearing, I am fond of Olaf the most. The sweet little snowball is bursting with so much positive energy and genuineness.

Long weekend highlights!

Oh! The glee that a 3-day weekend brings! :) Honestly though, I would've wanted to have a weekend getaway, but I wasn't able to plan on time :( So I am soooo looking forward to doing one of my favorite things in the next few months: travel! So for this long weekend, I spent it balancing exercising, eating, sleeping and catching up on new movies and tv series. In short, chillllaaaaax lang muna tayo . :P

Why so serious???

"Helllloooo... this  is a parade... smiiiileeee..." that was probably one of the lines that made me like the character of Tara, the queen of the forest, more than the lead character, Mary Katherine, in the movie Epic.
