Camiguin's Best (Part 3/4)

Hello White Island! :) For this post, I am posting large-sized photos because the island is so beautiful, it deserves nothing less than full-bleed (or as big as these can get!) images :) We stayed at Paguia's Cottages in Camiguin, which is just 15 minutes away from the island.

Yes, this island is famous for its sandbar, and is also called as the Alphabet Island because depending on the tide, the sandbar shifts from time to time. So it may be look like an "L" this morning, then gradually shifts to an "E" in the afternoon :)

Here we go!

It's so beautiful, isn't it?? We went there really early, around 6am so the sun wasn't beating down so hard and the sky was just tinted with orange and pink hues :)

Aside from the obviously gorgeous island Camiguin boasts off, this is also where we had our best dining experience of the trip.

Luna Ristorante

Yummy Italian dishes, that's what Luna offers. They also have bands playing here a few nights a week so it's more than just your go-to lunch place.

Casa Roca Inn

It was pouring on our first night in Camiguin but we resolved to go out to discover hidden gems as far as food is concerned so despite the crazy rain, we were on the look out for the zebra printed gate of Casa Roca Inn and hoped that they were open! And it was a good call that we did, because Casa Roca Inn has such great ambiance and food! :)

So You Had a Bad Day

Last Friday, I caught myself getting irritated by the second as I get one bad update after the next at work - confirming either low performance for the month or delay in our campaign activities. I just wanted nothing more but to call it a day and go home... But since that wasn't an option, I just watched a movie (yup on my own :P) and stuffed my mouth with Taters potato chips (cheese flavor!) and Jamaican pattie (cheesy beef!) later that afternoon. Yup, that made me feel a little better after! We all go through this kind of day, and so soon after ringing in the new year with our hopes and goals too! Tsktsk! So as I dragged myself to take on the hours that day, I knew that I had to snap out of it and be wary, lest I find myself stuck in the limbo of the daily activities.

Getting Beach-Ready with Wink!

Beach! That is what my mind seems to be saying these days, and on Friday we will be flying to a much-loved beach in Visayas (more about that soon). Finally! The sun and the seas! :D But before we don our swimwear and flip-flops, my friend and I made sure to get our skin beach-ready first. So just last Saturday, we went to Wink Laser & Wax Studio to get our waxing fix. We both have had experience in waxing, shaving and plucking so I think it was a great way to try what Wink has to offer differently in the market. Because we already have something to compare it with, we hope to bring something that will break it down into specifics, not just with the service but with the products and the ambiance as well. Japan: Lit Gardens & Shrines in Kyoto + Japan Travel Tips

On our 3rd day, we went to Kyoto! We bought a one-day Keihan railway pass since Kyoto is about an hour away from Osaka. There are different ways to get to Kyoto but the cheapest and fastest is by train. Taxis are very expensive in Japan!
