Spotified!

Could Daniel Ek, creator of Spotify, be the next Mark Zuckerburg?

With the growing number of users of this now-famous app, it IS possible. :)

This new app reminds me of MTV days in the 90s. I remembered how my sisters and I lived in Moffatts fandom back then, that not only do we have posters of these cuteee siblings plastered on our wall, but we also hoard cassette tapes and song-hits (haha! alamuyan!) as we wait for their video to come on MTV and watch it for the nth time!

Living in an era of downloads allows us with so much control when it comes to the music we listen to. Taking comfort in the familiar is not all that bad, but not knowing what next song will be playing or when your favorite track will come on is also pretty exciting.

Of course, you can make your own playlists in Spotify, but the app's browse and discover tabs also encourage its users to thread on newly discovered tracks and oldie but goodie artists of your most listened-to genres.

ANd the clincher is this, you are only allowed 6 skips max in an hour for free listening! So unless you're willing to pay a premium, you really have to suck it up and listen to the song.

Here are a couple of their most-played tracks that get me excited whenever they're on! Woot woot!

Disclosure - Latch (Ft. Sam Smith)
The Best Day of my Life - American Authors
Not a Bad Thing - Justin Timberlake
Summer - Calvin Harris
Happy - Pharrell
All of Me - John Legend
Birthday - Katy Perry
Brave - Sara Bareilles
Counting Stars - One Republic

Do find old favorites and discover new ones with Spotify! download here and enjoy free listening!

Japan: Lit Gardens & Shrines in Kyoto + Japan Travel Tips

On our 3rd day, we went to Kyoto! We bought a one-day Keihan railway pass since Kyoto is about an hour away from Osaka. There are different ways to get to Kyoto but the cheapest and fastest is by train. Taxis are very expensive in Japan! Buses and trains are just about the same price so you can plot your way to this famous spot either way. Fushimi Inari Shrine

i love You

Just sneaking in a post to share how God has been good to me all my life :) Somehow, no matter how much I try or anyone tries, I haven't felt loved and I couldn't love the way God loves me. When I talk to people and I try to describe God's love, every analogy falls short... simply because His love is just so much more intense and it's unconditional. For this post, I want to share the role that love plays in allowing God to be the Lord of my life. :) When we talk about Lordship, it usually entails a sharp intake of breath and begrudgingly opening our hands to release something that we have held on for too long... but Lordship can also be a natural response to what is already made complete in us. Lordship, at its best, is an expression of love. :)
