Celebrate joy!

Just last weekend was the church's Volunteer Weekend! :) Volunteers' Appreciation Night For Volunteers' Appreciation Night last Saturday, we watched the play "The Choice" featuring the Chancel Repertory Philippines who gave a magnificent performance. The amazing thing about it was that they were all volunteers, but it did not taint their craft one bit.

My baby business, Shoes Made for Walking, is turning 1 this February! And I cooked something special for our dear customers. It's my way of saying thank you and encouraging the girls to take care and pamper themselves! And guess who we tied up with? I will be revealing it very soon, but here's a little teaser :

Do you guys know Mikka Padua? My friend Belle told me about her (as she worked with her before) and how perfectly Ms. Padua epitomizes the word GLAM. While the name did sound familiar, I really had no idea on who she was. So I did as Belle told me, I checked Mikka's blog... and true enough, she is indeed the glamorous gal she described. She is happily married with a kid, but her fashion sense and style is so spot on, and even the way she writes so classy, that it's like a welcoming breeze that ushers in all the good vibes in the city. On top of being a mom and a wife, she also designs bags, travels, gives fashion advice...

Happy with the SMFW photos to prettify the brand a bit :) Thanks to one of my friends, Ryan (owner of the men's clothing brand Timothy Scotch ) who took the great photos! I think having a really good shot of the product is half the battle, don't you think? So I pimped the photos a bit to make sure that the brand screams every bit of SMFW - shoes that are customized, ultra-comfy and very affordable.
