Happy Sunday from the Fulltime Girl

Woke up to this quote and just had to share -- don't you agree? :)

The fulltime girl, Lauren DeMoss, blogs here.

Lauren DeMoss is a teacher at a Christian school in New England. She dislikes early mornings, spiders, and folding laundry. She likes shoe shopping [or any type of shopping really], ice cream, texting, tweeting {@laurendemoss}, candy apples, and fancy hair products. She loves her family, friends, and more than anything, Jesus.
Having grown up in a christian home, she knows the struggles of christian girls and the pull of the world on their hearts. She has experienced not only heartbreak, but also the miracle of God’s healing the brokenhearted and binding up their wounds. Her trials have led her to the feet of Jesus and by God’s grace, she knows the peace and love of a life given completely to Him. Most of all, she wants to let people know that they are not alone in their journey on the narrow road.
Lauren is the founder and author at thefulltimegirl.com. Through her writing, she desires to point people to Jesus, and encourage and inspire her generation and the next to be courageously and fully abandoned to their Savior. It is really all about Him.
I'm looking forward to reading her posts! She likes shoe shopping but she LOVES Jesus. That's so meeee! I can so relate! Haha! Feeling friend episode na naman ako! Lol!

Happy Sunday!

On our 3rd day, we went to Kyoto! We bought a one-day Keihan railway pass since Kyoto is about an hour away from Osaka. There are different ways to get to Kyoto but the cheapest and fastest is by train. Taxis are very expensive in Japan! Buses and trains are just about the same price so you can plot your way to this famous spot either way. Fushimi Inari Shrine

A Day with a Make Up Artist

You may see me as a kikay girl, but I am practically clueless as far as make up is concerned. I have always been fascinated with people who can do eye make up. How I wish I could do those smokey eyes without looking like raccoon and without finishing off all the dark-colored eye shadows. So lo and behold, a few weeks ago, I was able to watch how make up artists spring into action as they take out their palettes to create a masterpiece with the face as their canvas. And I kid you not, they seriously have palettes--like painter-kind of palettes :)
