A Supposedly Secret Wedding

I am sure many of you have already seen the Maricar Reyes-Richard Poon wedding video.

I have seen photos on Facebook and Instagram, someone even pasted the video link on my timeline, and one friend messaged me the video itself... so it's kind of hard to miss. :P All because I am such a freakin' cheeseballs, and they know me too well.

And true enough, I can't help but get teary eyed as I watch the video... Waaaaahh!

It's just amazing when the glory of God manifests itself. Ironically, this was supposed to be a secret wedding -- an intimate event wherein those that are closest to their hearts will be there to celebrate with them. But just hours after this video was uploaded, thousands of people shared and liked it! Wala nang makapipigil pa!

Just goes to show that when something glorifies God, it will really show and be known to many. It's hard to cover a light that shines so bright.
“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven." Matthew 5:14-16

On our 3rd day, we went to Kyoto! We bought a one-day Keihan railway pass since Kyoto is about an hour away from Osaka. There are different ways to get to Kyoto but the cheapest and fastest is by train. Taxis are very expensive in Japan! Buses and trains are just about the same price so you can plot your way to this famous spot either way. Fushimi Inari Shrine

A Day with a Make Up Artist

You may see me as a kikay girl, but I am practically clueless as far as make up is concerned. I have always been fascinated with people who can do eye make up. How I wish I could do those smokey eyes without looking like raccoon and without finishing off all the dark-colored eye shadows. So lo and behold, a few weeks ago, I was able to watch how make up artists spring into action as they take out their palettes to create a masterpiece with the face as their canvas. And I kid you not, they seriously have palettes--like painter-kind of palettes :)
