Read Fave: The Graveyard Book

I just finished "The Graveyard Book" by Neil Gaiman and loved it! This book won both the Newbery Medal and Carnegie Award, and I can see why.

What's Up Down South

December nights are proving to be cool and breezy and I, for one, would take any opportunity to take a quick trip outside Manila to breathe in this fresh air. So it was great that my work friends and I hopped on a car two Fridays ago and went down South to celebrate Christmas over dinner, coffee and lots of laughter in between. I guess craziness is what happens when it's Friday and you're just counting down days til Christmas :) What was new to me though was some of the new things happening down South, especially in places like Sta. Rosa which now has Solenad and Nuvali.

Happy Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone! Just sneaking in a quick greeting to y'all!   For to us a child is born, to us   a son is given; and the government shall be   upon   his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful   Counselor,   Mighty God,   Everlasting   Father, Prince of   Peace.   Isaiah 9:6

Playlist Faves: Weightless

I may be nursing a mild case of karaoke hangover, lol. We celebrated my sister's boyfriend's birthday yesterday, KTV style, and it was pretty fun. We sang our hearts and lungs out as we lined up one song after another and took turns with the microphone. Anyway, here is one song that I enjoy listening to lately. How really talented is Natasha Bedingfield?!

Ho-Ho-Ho!

Christmas crunch time is upon us! Exchange gifts here, Christmas reunions there, the never-ending last minute Christmas shopping and Yuletide decorations everywhere...

Let it Travel to Your Heart

I missed this space! Now back to writing and updating you guys :) Yes, yes, yes, we have heard it all before, busyness that kept me at bay from this lovely space, but no excuses... I will try to get back on this "horse" on a more regular basis. Amen? Amen! THAT reflective Honestly, I am learning a lot these past few weeks and one of which is confronting with the fact that I may not be maximizing my voice exactly for His glory. We just got back from the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People training by Stephen Covey and it made me come face to face with questions about my personal mission, values, etc.

Best Kind of Friendship

Just weeks before my best friend, Ja, is to walk down the aisle, I thought I'd invite her for a quick lunch for our BFF brownie points. It was supposed to be a casual cook-in, because.. and this next statement will surprise you as much as me: I miss cooking! Or at least whipping up something edible, lol! Maybe more about that rekindled frustration on cooking on my next posts, but for today, allow me to just say a piece about the best kind of friendship :)
